Continuing education is an essential part of professional development. It promotes and encourages process consistency, professionalism, quality, and safety in the workplace. Myself and other committed and eager professionals regularly encounter new and challenging workplace opportunities. These opportunities include everything from innovative technology integration to our rapidly adjusting workplace culture. We are also challenged with staying apprised of and adhering to the latest standards and best practices to ensure patient safety, infection prevention, and exemplary customer service.

The ScrubBALL Conference is an opportunity to gain knowledge and tactical information from leading industry experts to address the challenges listed above and more. Over the course of three days, healthcare professionals of all backgrounds and experience levels are educated on relevant topics impacting our industry and our facilities through vendor exhibits, industry expert presentations, and dynamic panels. These events, coupled with networking amongst industry professionals and peers, will provide access to industry best practices and the wealth of knowledge, insight, and expertise around me. While gaining valuable continuing education credits, I will also gain the necessary tools to immediately apply valuable, practical knowledge in my respective departments upon my return. 

Many of these sessions will not only enhance my professional aptitude and leadership abilities but will also be a significant support to our workplace morale and culture. I intend to return with this knowledge and share it with my colleagues and leadership so that we can all benefit from it. As you can see, my attendance at this year’s ScrubBALL conference would allow me to continue to provide the best quality of care to our patients.  I am asking for assistance with expenses in the amount of $_________ so that I may attend.
